Great marisco restaurant! The menu all makes your mouth water. They are under new management (according to banner hanging outside), so if you haven't gone in a while, I suggest you give it a 2nd chance. You can tell they are renovating and making it nicer. We tried some oysters preparados and they were soo good! My friend had a coconut stuffed with seafood and I had a molcajete with shrimp in a salsa verde and everything was delicious

I really wanted to like this place since it's close to home but that wasn't the case. The waitress took our drink order and never returned. 15 minutes later, I tell the host to cancel our drink order because we're going elsewhere. Then another waitress shows up and takes our order again. We stayed and her service was good but I just wasn't impressed with the food. The portions were small for the price and it just wasn't worth the long wait.

I was in desperate need of some aguachile. Since my usual go-to was out of aguachile for the night, I decided to give this place a try. I have to say, I was not overly impressed. The shrimp were flavorful enough, there just weren't enough for the $18 price tag. I'll stick to my go-to moving forward.

Stopped by here before the football game.

It is just east of Coops in the same plaza on the south side of peoria west of grand.

The outside looks like a ran down parking lot. The windows look kind of grimey. The inside is okay. Some bright colors, booths, beer signs, and tables.

No TVs with the games on. Just loud Spanish music to set the mood.

Good sized menu. Specializing in seafood of course. Looked the menus over with some chips and salsa that tasted fresh.

Ordered a molcajete verde and a couple of the alboroto tostadas based off the waitresses recommendation the molcajete verde wouldn't be big enough to share.

Took quite a while for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. The tostadas came basically on a plate with shells and crackers on the side. But it was enough for a few of them. The seafood was fresh and the flavors were excellent.

The molcajete was HUGE!  It was even better than the tostadas. Tasted like aguachiles. Delicious.

Two grown men could definitely share one molcajete. We ended up wasting some really old food as we couldn't finish all of it.

The waitress was friendly and polite.

I would recommend redoing the bathrooms, turning down the music, and getting some TVs with football on. The price was also a bit high for similar food in the valley.

That all aside it is a solid 4 Stars from me. Will be back.

I appreciate a good fish taco and they have em! Shrimp Cocktails Are extremely flavorful, and you can't leave without trying some homemade beans! We come here often and I'm never let down!

The Spanish music sets the vibe and just gets you ready to have some great food with family and friends. Also if your in the mood to have a few, get a bucket of coronitas!
